Private session. Montreal, feb. 2011
When Michel saw my work, he asked me if I could do his portrait with light painting. He said he’s been looking for a local artist to do a piece for his living room. I said: “of course I can but I have to warn you that the only problem you’re going to have working with me is, that at the end you’ll have to many choices and won’t know wich one to choose”. And that’s exactly what happen, at the end he ask me to do a montage with 4 images in it and an other one with 3 images. The big one is 4 feet by 4 feet (122×122 cm) and the smaller is 3 feet by 1 foot (92×31 cm). We got those framed and hung on his wall.
We had a great shooting with makeup artiste Marie Josée Galibert and assistant Emilie Ouelette.
All the framing details are black on black, signed with a penciled and stamped with my personal Japanese stamp.
