This was envisioned by the Kbs+p agency https://www.kbsp.ca. A campaign to encourage youth to live their passions intensely and naturally.
They wanted light painting to show the movements, the energy, the intensity. We shot in a studio with flashes and did light painting during the long exposure. In the case of the hip hop dancers I had lights attached to their fingers to capture dance movement. So the dancers did part of the light painting.
